Serving Suggestions

Growing up, my family would serve this dish with our favorite Sunday dinner.

On most Sundays, we’d have Rice and Peas served with Turkey Neck

Tips For Making This Classic Potato Salad

This recipe is simple and fun to make.

You can’t go wrong with the tips and steps on how to make the best potato salad ever!

Classic Potato Salad 1
  • Add other ingredients like green peas, apples, and celery.
  • Spice up your dressing with ingredients like mustard and apple cider vinegar.
  • To make a creamier potato salad, add dairy-free milk or cornstarch.
  • This recipe is best served warm, but the choice is yours as you can have it chilled or warmed.
  • You can also use a can of mixed vegetables to make a bigger batch with more potatoes.

How To Store Your Potato Salad

Store leftovers in an airtight container in your refrigerator for 3-4 days.

I don’t recommend reheating since we added mayonnaise to the dish.

However, you can remove it from the refrigerator and allow it to defrost or chill at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving.
