Tips for Making Banana Bread

I’m no baker, but I do like a challenge.

Here are some quick tips I learned to make the best banana loaf bread ever:

  • Instead of brown sugar, you can use any sweetener, such as maple syrup.
  • Do not overmix your batter, as this can cause your bread to become dense.
  • Quick Pro Tip: Toss add-ins like raisins with flour before adding to your batter. It helps prevent them from sinking to the bottom.
  • If your banana bread cracks at the top before completely baking, this can mean the temperature is too high.
  • Don’t overbake your banana bread. Remove from pan after cooling for best results.

Why You Should Make This Recipe:

  • Make Ahead – impress your friends or guests with this recipe when you make it ahead of their arrival.
  • Easy To Make – this recipe took me 20 minutes to whip up and pop in the oven.
  • Perfect Quick Snack –this sweet treat is my go-to whenever I need a light snack.

Storage Tips

Store your cooled banana bread in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-5 days.

Reheat in a microwave for 10 seconds and serve.
