3 Ingredients Banana Pancakes
These fluffy Banana Pancakes are perfect for any day of the week. Served best with a bowl of fresh fruits and syrup to the side, not even the kids can resist this one.
If you don’t know this about me, you know now that I love breakfast food.
It’s my favorite meal of the day. And for whatever reason, I love eating breakfast meals for late-night snacks.
I don’t know, it’s strange, but I love it.
Today, I am sharing this little recipe I whipped up to spice up the pancake mix I use for a quick breakfast.
What Are Pancakes?
Pancakes are flat cakes usually made from a starch-based batter that may contain eggs, milk, and butter.
This batter is poured on a flat surface, such as a frying pan or griddle, then fried with little oil or butter.
Even though pancakes aren’t a Caribbean-type breakfast item, these flat cakes are well-known in different regions from West Africa to Eastern Europe and North America.
All those commercials I used to see on television about pancakes piqued my interest in this easy breakfast dessert.
I remember making my first pancake batter, and it was awful.
However, I am happy to say this recipe is a delicious and fluffy one you must try.
Did You Know? Pancakes are so widely well-liked that it has a day just for them.
It’s traditionally eaten on the day known as “Shrove Tuesday” (known by some Christian faiths) or Pancake Day in some countries.
Shrove Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday, observed mainly by Christian countries.
On this day, fasting and confession are done, amongst the consumption of pancakes and other sweets.
Historically, pancakes are prepared and eaten to use up any fat left before the start of Lent.

Ingredients To Use
- Ripe Banana – one ripe banana will do fine. If you prefer, you can double the recipe for more.
- Pancake Mix – any brand of pancake mix works fine
- Milk – we prefer almond milk, but you can try other types of milk
- Vanilla Extract – is an optional choice, but I suggest it as it helps to make the pancakes fluffier (in my opinion).
