We often enjoy pumpkin in soups and rice or even boiled and served as a side.

We focus mainly on the healthy benefits of pumpkin, as each part of the pumpkin has its unique nutritional benefit.

Pumpkin (squash) has many different variations beyond the shape and color.

Most parts of the pumpkin plant are palatable, including the leaves, seeds, pulp, and shell. Even the flower of the plant is edible.

Though pumpkin is mainly water, it is a good source of daily vitamin intake, such as vitamins A and C.

It also contains sources of beta-carotene along with small percentages of fat and protein.
