Easy Egg Salad Recipe

This creamy and delicious Egg Salad recipe is the perfect lunch snack for any day of the week. Make an easy sandwich or enjoy it with a side of fries, like I do!

Ingredients
  

  • 7 boiled eggs
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose seasoning
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp relish
  • ½ cup onion diced
  • 2 stalks escallion chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tsp lime or lemon juice
  • Water

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, bring to a boil some water. Gently add eggs to boiling water. Ensure water covers the eggs and cook for 7-10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and cool eggs in an ice bath. Remove eggs from the shell and set aside.
  • Chop up boiled eggs in a bowl. Add mustard, mayonnaise, all-purpose seasoning, relish, cayenne pepper, onion, salt, and garlic. Mix to combine ingredients.
  • Garnish with chopped escallion or parsley.
  • Serve.

Notes

Notes For Making Egg Salad 

  • Add chopped bell peppers, cucumbers, celery, or even bacon to get creative with your egg salad. 
  • Egg salads are usually a filling for sandwiches, but you can enjoy them as is or on a bed of lettuce.
  • Best served chilled.
